    Case Manager (Colorado Springs, Colorado)

    The Case Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations. The Case Manager provides support and expertise through comprehensive planning, implementation and overall evaluation of individual patient records.  The overall goal of the position is to enhance the quality of patient management and satisfaction, to promote continuity of care and cost effectiveness through the integration and function of case management, and utilization review and management of discharge planning.  Has accountability for the care, coordination and discharge planning of all patients.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of utilization review/case management experience
  • Maintain current Colorado Nursing License
  • Bachelors Degree OR equivalent external work experience or equivalent formal training in related duties
  • Strong presentation skills as a trainer or facilitator
  • Preferred but not Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Medical enterprise experience
  • Certification in case management preferred (CCMC, ARN)
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus!

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the integration of case management functions
  • Conduct concurrent medical record review using specific indicators and criteria
  • Acts as patient advocate
  • Promote effective and efficient utilization of clinical resources
  • Communicates with physicians at regular intervals and develops an effective working relationship.  Assist physicians to maintain appropriate cost, care and desired patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with clinical staff in the development and execution of the plan of care and achievement of goals
  • Directs and participates in the development and implementation of patient care policies and protocols in order to provide advice and guidance in handling special cases or patient needs

    Accountant II (Colorado Springs, Colorado)

    The Accountant will report directly to the Director of Operations.  Candidates must be skilled and capable of managing all areas of the Accounting department.  The ideal candidate must be proficient in understanding and use of personal computers, Excel, Word, E-mail, QuickBooks, and 10-Key adding machine or calculator.  The successful candidate must be able to think strategically, and execute tactically.    Additionally candidates must be able to prioritize and multi task in a truly fast paced environment with considerable demands on time. 

    Minimum Requirements:

  • 4-5 years experience
  • Demonstrated progressive responsibility and professional growth
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting OR equivalent external work experience or equivalent formal training in related duties
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of tax preparation
  • Preferred but not Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Medical enterprise experience
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus!

  • Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliation, and spreadsheets
  • Monitors, analyzes, and/or reviews financial summary and detailed reports
  • Analyzes, reconciles, and/or evaluates the accuracy of general ledger, accounting details, revenues, expenditures, accounting/budget/financial reports
  • Performs purchasing activities for sites and programs, maintaining ledgers, receiving items, and verify invoices
  • Prepares month/year end budget closing and journal entries

    Clinic Manager (Colorado Springs, Colorado)

    The Clinic Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations.  The Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the medical practice, to include management the clinic and the staff on a daily basis.  The Clinic Manager administers assistance to the Physicians and completes special projects. 

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Preferred graduation from college or school of nursing and possesses current Colorado RN or LPN License; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Preferred but not Required:

  • Documentation of college education or technical school with a BS/BA and/or graduation from school of nursing and possesses current Colorado RN or LPN License

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform staff management by accomplishing the following:
  • Coordinates clinic activities and the work assignments of staff members.
  • Observes patient care to ensure that care is carried out as directed and treatment is administered in accordance with physician instructions.
  • Performs functional assignments per unit standards of care. Such activities may include:
    • Develops, implements, and evaluates clinic policies, goals, and objectives:
    • Participates in the development and modifications of clinic programs.
    • Participates in the development and monitoring of the unit budget
    • Participates in performance improvement activities; quality improvement and patient safety activities; assists in maintaining compliance with JCAHO accreditation and other internal and external regulatory standards.
