EMERGICARE, INC. is an organization consisting of free-standing urgent care centers, owned and operated by Robert Hamilton, M.D. Recognizing a need for free-standing emergency centers, Dr. Hamilton opened his first clinic in 1982. His goal is to offer high quality acute primary care. We treat all minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment, without waiting, and at a much lower cost than a hospital emergency room visit. There are now a total of five EmergiCare clinics -- four in Colorado Springs and one in our sister city Pueblo. All of EmergiCare clinics are conveniently located only minutes away from any place of business, and offer extended hours. Please go to our Locations page for directions and hours of operations. EmergiCare also provides the Pikes Peak Region with premier occupational care. Over two thousand companies, including the County of Pueblo, depend on EmergiCare for their medical needs. The hallmark of EmergiCare’s service is its aggressive return-to-work approach in occupational medicine. EmergiCare takes pride in its case management approach for injured workers—all cases are individually managed by a designated case provider to insure proper follow up care. EmergiCare also provides competitive drug screening services and physicals for Department of Transportation regulated and non-regulated programs.
