Why should I come to an EmergiCare clinic?
Whether you have a cough that won't go away or your son just fell out of a tree, EmergiCare has the technical expertise and facilities to handle whatever health concerns you have. We're conveniently located throughout Colorado Springs and Pueblo and accept both appointments and walk-ins.

What is the difference between the services at a hospital emergency room (ER) and an EmergiCare clinic?
The treatments EmergiCare clinics offer are no different from those that emergency rooms provide - but our service is more personal and our cost is significantly lower. Waiting in a hospital emergency room can sometimes be a scary experience for children, not to mention a lengthy one. EmergiCare clinics are comfortable and don't see the high volume of patients that ERs are required to treat. Plus, we have x-ray and lab facilities at each clinic. We'll continue to care even after you leave the clinic with a follow-up call and/or additional care if needed.
-
Do I need a doctor's referral to come to an EmergiCare clinic?
Many doctors refer patients to EmergiCare clinics. However, a referral is not required. Anyone can schedule an appointment or
walk in at an EmergiCare clinic.
-
Are EmergiCare physicians certified?
Yes, EmergiCare physicians are highly trained in urgent care and emergency medicine. All of our doctors are licensed and havereceived medical degrees from top universities. Unlike most hospitals, EmergiCare requires physicians to have had a U.S. residency and be Board certified.

If it is determined during treatment that I must see a specialist for additional care, can EmergiCare refer me to an appropriate physician?
Yes, unlike hospitals that are required to refer you to the doctor on-call, EmergiCare physicians have the luxury of referring you to any specialist that we feel is the most appropriate and will deliver the absolute best medical care to meet your needs. We can even recommend help-groups in the community to further assist your recovery.
